Well someone has finally went and done it, built a true thermal imaging camera into a smart phone. The CAT S60 is built with FLIR technology but provides all the nifty features we’ve come to love from our smart phones, including video, panorama and even time-lapse. An SDK is available for Android app developers.
You should see the first units rolling out in Europe this June, sadly we’ll have to wait a bit longer here in the U.S.
