Rugged smart camera for use in harsh industrial environments introduced by ADLINK

ADLINK Technology out of San Jose CA has just introduced their new NEON-1040 x86 rugged smart camera designed specifically for harsh industrial environments demanding high resolution image capture and onboard image processing.

The NEON-1040 has an IP67-rated housing, M12 connectors, and the high-end, quad-core Intel-based processor, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) co-processors, and graphics processing unit (GPU) for high-speed, high-resolution industrial imaging applications.

The NEON-1040 features a 4-megapixel 60-frame-per-second global shutter sensor and the Intel Atom quad core 1.9 GHz processor, featuring minimal footprint and rugged IP67-rated construction.
